ORDER:
In the reference 1st read above, certain guidelines were issued earlier regarding the extending of Medical facilities and the Compensation for the injured and deceased labourers at the worksites.
2. In the reference 2nd read above, the Government of India have issued orders amending the entitlements of the workers in case they met with injuries, accidents and death vide Paras 25, 26, 27 & 28 of Schedule - II of MGNREGA, 2005 vide notification dated:13-07-2020.
3. Accordingly, In the reference 4th read above, the Commissioner, Rural Development, Hyderabad has sent proposals to Government for issue of an amendment to G.O.Ms.No.303, PR& RD (RD.II) Department, dated:29-07-2006, in terms of the Government of India Notification, Ministry of Rural Development issued on Medical facilities and Compensation for the injured and deceased labourers working at worksites.
4. Government after careful examination, of the Government of India Notification and on the proposal received now from the Director, Rural Development the following amendment is hereby issued to the G.O.Ms.No.303, PR& RD (RD.II) Department, dated:29-07-2006 on the disbursement of medical facilities and the compensation for the injured and deceased labourers at worksites under MGNREGS as follows:

| In case of any permanent disability due to injury, the laborer shall be paid Rs.25,000 as compensation. This shall be approved by the District Program coordinator on submission of a report given in Annexure-V by the PD, DWMA or PO, ITDA along with the Certificate of Disability by the district government hospital and the GP resolution. The MPDO shall ensure that the compensation is paid within 7 days of submission of application along with the certificate of disability and GP resolution. | In case of any permanent disability due to injury, the laborer shall be paid Rs.1,00,000/- as compensation.
