ORDER :-

Whereas, Government have reviewed the progress of convergence works with all the Superintending Engineers (PR), and Executive Engineers (PR) on 6.4.2013. During the review, the Superintending Engineers (PR) and the Executive Engineers (PR) have expressed several difficulties regarding procurement of materials for the works and gave several suggestions.

Now therefore, Government after careful consideration of the matter have decided to issue amendments to the notification issued in G.O Ms. No.42 PR&RD (RD.II) Dept., dt.16.2.2012.

Accordingly, the following notification will be published in an extraordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette dt.23.12.2013.

PRELIMINARY NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 32 read with sub-section (3) of section 23 of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, 2005 (Central Act No:42 of 2005), the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following amendments to the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme – Andhra Pradesh procurement of material for works Rules, 2012.

The procedure implementation shall come into force from the current year 2013-2014 and also wherever material rates are not yet finalized by the Collectors/DPCs(District Programme Coordinator).

Notice is hereby given that the matter will be taken up for consideration after the expiry of 60 days for the date of publication of this notification in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette and the objection or suggestion if any, received before the expiry of the said period will be considered by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad.
